Saved rivers stay on this device
The “My rivers” feature stores a list of river identifiers in your browser’s local storage. It does not need an account. These favourites are not sent to a server by the feature. Clear this website’s browser storage to remove them.
When you load the map
The interactive map is loaded only after you choose to open it. Your browser then requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives normal connection information such as your IP address and browser request details. You can use the station directory without loading the map.
Website requests
Visiting a page and requesting published observations sends normal web requests to the website’s hosting service. No optional analytics or advertising scripts are included in this version. Reserved advertising spaces are visual placeholders.
